InstantConvert (“we”, “our”) runs the free and paid image tools at instantwebp.com. This policy explains what data we collect and why. If you have questions, reach us through the contact page: https://instantwebp.com/contact/

1. Files you upload

Your images are processed automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within 1 hour of upload. We do not look at your files, keep copies, or share them with anyone. What you upload stays yours.

2. If you buy a paid plan

  • Your email address — we use passwordless login: you sign in with a one-time code sent to your email. We store your email so your subscription and plan limits work.
  • Payments — all payments are processed securely by Stripe. We never see, touch or store your card details. Stripe handles payment information under its own privacy policy (https://stripe.com/privacy).
  • Your country / currency — we detect your country (from your connection, with a fallback lookup) so prices show in your own currency. We store your billing currency with your account.

3. If you contact us

Messages sent through our contact form are kept so we can reply and resolve your request. We do not add you to any mailing list — we do not run a newsletter, and free account registration is currently closed.

4. Technical data

Like almost every website, our servers keep basic logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages visited) for security and to keep the service running. Logged-in users get strictly necessary cookies for login and security. We do not currently use advertising or analytics cookies.

5. Who we share data with

  • Stripe — to process your payments. Nothing else.
  • We never sell your data, and we never share it for marketing.

6. How long we keep data

Uploaded files: deleted within 1 hour. Account data (email, plan, billing currency): kept while your account is active so your subscription works, and deleted on request. Contact messages: kept as long as needed to handle your request.

7. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and data entirely. Contact us through the contact page and we will act promptly.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date above. Continued use of the site means you accept the updated policy.
